GameShelf doesn't require creating an account, doesn't collect any personal data, and doesn't integrate any analytics, ad-tracking, or audience-measurement tool.
Your game collection (statuses, dates added) and your preferences (e.g. daily reminder time) are stored only on your device via Apple SwiftData. They are never transmitted to a server controlled by GameShelf — no such server exists.
GameShelf queries the IGDB API (owned by Twitch Interactive / Amazon) to fetch public video game information (titles, cover art, platforms, release dates). These requests identify the app to IGDB, not you personally. See IGDB/Twitch's own privacy policy for details on how they handle these standard network requests.
If a "GameShelf Pro" purchase is offered, it is handled entirely by Apple via StoreKit. GameShelf never sees or stores any payment information — refer to Apple's own privacy policy for how purchases are handled.
If you enable the daily reminder, it is scheduled locally on your device via Apple UserNotifications — no data is sent to a server to trigger this notification.
